Ladies & Gentlemen, Mr Barack Obama In An Act Of Desperation
There are rumors going around that Mr O is going to dump Biden and pick up Clinton as his VP. It’s supposed to work with Biden dropping out for ‘health reasons’ after the first VP debate. I’m not sure I believe that will happen. Why would Biden do this? He would most likely be giving up ever running for President again and he has shown he wants the office, having run several times, what would be his incentive to drop out?
What would be Hillary’s incentive? She doesn’t really want the VP slot, she wants the big chair. Everyone knows that O screwed her, he didn’t even consider her when selecting his VP the first time around. Taking the VP slot will mean that she can’t go for the big chair for at least 8 years (8 to 10 if you’re counting in Obama years) if they win, and then she has to hope that O doesn’t F&^k things up and that is a long shot. After the way the prick treated her during the primary and the VP selection snub, she should tell him to F#$k off and die.
Hillary’s best bet is to hope he loses so that she can run in 4 years again, if Obama loses, he won’t get the nod next time and she is almost sure to get the nomination.
Like I said, I don’t think he will do this, It would show that his campaign is very worried and that the Palin pick is the biggest factor they are worried about. I’m don’t think that Obama’s ego could take the bruising if he has to bring in Clinton to salvage his campaign.

I hope they go for it; that would put them in a weakened position and present a totally ridiculous front to the public. Cries of ‘disenfranchisement’ would still ring and McCain/Palin would surely win in a landslide.
Or I’m dreaming.

Hillary just wants to be president. She’ll take it no matter how it comes about. And since the vp is one stepping stone away from her ultimate goal, I believe she’d take it knowing full well that “the one’s” campaign, frequently compared to JFK by a fawning media, will eventually end with a shooter in a window.
The only thing left is how to pin it on the rightwing and make it stick.

I didn’t say Hillary would tell him to fuck off, I said she should. I know she wants to be president, I just don’t think her best bet is to run with Obama as VP first

I can’t claim to be an expert on US politics, but naaaah…I don’t think it’d never happen.
Firstly, it’d make the Democrats look too indecisive. Also, too many people would see it as Obama basically saying “Hey, look everyone – they’ve got a woman on board, and now so have we! Plus, did I mention that I is black (sorry – Ali G reference there!)? We now score more on identity politics, so now you disaffected Democrat wimmin can come back over to us! Hope! Change!!”.
Sorry; I’ve only been to South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama (the bit outside Chicago airport where you can smoke probably doesn’t count), but absolutely no American I’ve ever met so far would be nearly stupid enough to fall for something like that.
Then again, I suspect Obama doesn’t actually have much respect for the intelligence of his fellow Americans…

Sorry, meant to say “ever” happen!
