Evil is as evil does

Posted in Stuff on July 31st, 2006 by sherlock

Rachel wanted me to post this, she’s mad that I did better(worse?) then she did.

You Are 90% Evil

You’re the most evil person you know.
The devil is even afraid of you!
How Evil Are You?

he should be afraid…very afraid!

Age of Aquarium

Posted in Aquarium, Fish, Stuff on July 31st, 2006 by sherlock

I was given an aquarium last week thanks to RTE, it’s a 75 gallon salt water setup. When we went to pick it up and first saw it I was a bit worried, it looked horrible. This weekend we went out and picked up lights for it and cleaned it up and painted the horrible looking stand. I got the filter working, set up the lights, tested the water (everything was fairly good) and I must say I am less worried now. The Tank looks great and when we finish the stand (we just did a base coat) it should look even better. Still need to figure out a hood for the lights. RTE will probably post pictures when she gets a chance.

‘Ramsey, are you going to the polo match this weekend?’

World Trade Center

Posted in Stuff on July 25th, 2006 by sherlock

The movie from Oliver Stone starts soon, I’m fairly sure that I won’t go see it. No, I’m not one to think that it is too soon, just the opposite, I don’t think enough movies are made about it. This may be a good thing given the state of hollywood. The reason that I don’t think this movie will be worth watching is that it isn’t really about 9/11, it’s about the survival of the two men trapped in the rubble. It might as well be The Posidon Adventure or the Towering Inferno or any of the other survival/rescue movies. It won’t deal with the attack by Islamic Terrorist on American, I wonder if it will even mention Islamic radicals or terrorism? How would a movie on Pearl Harbor be without mention of the Japanese attack? I don’t think in the current view of hollywood that we will get a good 9/11 movie, especially from Oliver Stone. WTC might be a good survival/rescue movie, but it probably isn’t a 9/11 movie from what I’ve read and heard, but not having seen it, I may be wrong.

Snakes on a Plant

Posted in Stuff on July 25th, 2006 by sherlock

I’m no fan of Walmart as you may know, as a matter of fact, I haven’t bought anything there in years and don’t even go in there if I can avoid it. Having said that, I find myself having to come to thier defense.
I got bitten by a snake in my backyard a few years ago, it was my fault, I screwed up and got careless. This was not my first nor my last encounter with a snake, over the years I have seen and caught hundreds of snakes, there have been snakes in the backyard, in the front yard, the garage, my brothers bedroom, the woods I hung out at as a child and teenager and various other places, some were poisonous, most were not. Florida is full of snakes, they are everywhere, the same is true for almost everywhere. The news reports make it look like Walmart is in some way at fault, this happened in an outside garden area where all that separates it from the outside is a chain link fence. The reporter wonders if the snake got there with the plant and what can be done to avoid it. If you want to avoid snakes altogether, you might consider moving to Alaska or points further north. Walmart is in no way at fault here unless they purposely put the snake on the plants

Maybe Walmart shoould hire Samual L. Jackson to rid the stores of snakes

Like a Virgin

Posted in Stuff on July 25th, 2006 by sherlock

The host of a kid’s show on PBS lost her job because of some ‘virgin’ videos she made before getting the job. To quote PBS on the reason “PBS Kids Sprout has determined that the dialogue in this video is inappropriate for her role as a preschool program host and may undermine her character’s credibility with our audience” um, isn’t your audience 2-5 years old? How much credibility do you need? It’s not as if she appears nude or has sex, from what they say it’s just a spoof of a PSA.

Shaka, when the walls fell

Posted in Observations, Time 2 Piss People Off on July 25th, 2006 by sherlock

Two interviews on NBC last night in different cities show the problem.

a Lebanese asked about the war: We will fight to the death.

an Israeli asked the same: We wish the war to end, we want peace.

That says more then I could and explains the title of this post if you know what it means.

A Podcast star is born

Posted in Stuff on July 24th, 2006 by sherlock

So RTY attended Apple Camp today and learned about podcasting. Here is her, and her partner Christina’s, first podcast.

Apple Camp

Well if I had been smart and brought the cord for the camera I could post pictures of RTY learning podcasting! But at least I have wireless access

Sitting here in Apple Camp watching RTY learning to podcast, here is what I’m working on:

The American Tour of France

Posted in Stuff on July 23rd, 2006 by sherlock

The French must be using thier white flags to wipe the tears away as once again the Americans take the yellow jersey home. So after 7 years of trying to discredit Lance Armstrong with unproven accusations of drugs and all, they now have another American coming in to bend them over like the bitches they are. You thought you were rid of us with Armstrong gone? Think again!

Racing Cycle – $5000
Bicycle shorts – $25
Winning the Tour de France 8 years in a row – Priceless

Busy Blogger

Posted in Are you serious?, Observations, Stuff on July 20th, 2006 by sherlock

While Rachel has been a busy blogger I have mostly been quiet, which has had the effect of increasing my hits. I have been thinking of just completely dropping my blog as I have had no real desire to blog much lately. I have ‘written’ some post in my head but not every gotten around to typing them up, maybe I’ll just turn this into a photo blog, but that also requires work!

Happy Birthday

Well at least they would know to head up towards the bottom of the ship, don’t listen to the Captain!

Maybe he should have put his dick in her mouth?

Posted in Time 2 Piss People Off on July 18th, 2006 by sherlock

Holy fucking christ, now this is hypocrisy isn’t it. Maybe the dumbasses would defend him if he got cum on her dress?

Update: just in case you wonder what I think, I have had women(including ones I barely know) do this to me before and I don’t think anyone (except maybe idiot PC people) would consider it ‘sexual harassment’, then again there is a double standard in effect.

Flight 93 National Terrorist Memorial

Posted in In Memorium, Observations, Stuff on July 12th, 2006 by sherlock

Disgusting, That the designers of this islamic jihadis memorial are trying to pass it off as a memorial to the brave Americans who fought back is totally disgusting. Go comment on the site, tell them that it needs a new design, one to honor the American heroes that gave their lives on 9/11, not the islamic terrorists that took those lives. This memorial shouldn’t be a place for islamist to gather on 9/11 to honor their ‘heroes’.
