I’m no fan of Walmart as you may know, as a matter of fact, I haven’t bought anything there in years and don’t even go in there if I can avoid it. Having said that, I find myself having to come to thier defense.
I got bitten by a snake in my backyard a few years ago, it was my fault, I screwed up and got careless. This was not my first nor my last encounter with a snake, over the years I have seen and caught hundreds of snakes, there have been snakes in the backyard, in the front yard, the garage, my brothers bedroom, the woods I hung out at as a child and teenager and various other places, some were poisonous, most were not. Florida is full of snakes, they are everywhere, the same is true for almost everywhere. The news reports make it look like Walmart is in some way at fault, this happened in an outside garden area where all that separates it from the outside is a chain link fence. The reporter wonders if the snake got there with the plant and what can be done to avoid it. If you want to avoid snakes altogether, you might consider moving to Alaska or points further north. Walmart is in no way at fault here unless they purposely put the snake on the plants
Maybe Walmart shoould hire Samual L. Jackson to rid the stores of snakes
