2-And, lo, Jim did iron out the kinks enabling all browsers to view his site. And it was good.
3-Verily I say unto you: Jim enabled Rachel to create posts on his site. And, yeah, Rachel did take advantage of this ability and did post inane entries.
4-For Rachel was unable to post anything onto her own blog because she was deceived by the one who calls herself “lovely and talented”.
5-Yeah, SarahK did propose to alter the coding in Rachel’s blog so that a broken link would be fixed.
6-Verily I say unto you: SarahK did alter the coding and the blog did self-destruct.
7-Like a lion in sheep’s clothing, SarahK did plot to sabotage that humble blog. And SarahK saw that it was good.
8-Lo! Rachel cried unto Jim, “Help me reconstruct my blog.”
9-And Jim spake unto Rachel, saying, “Wherefore did you allow yourself to be led astray?”
10-And Rachel did rend her clothing and cover herself with soot and did repent unto Jim saying, “I will not be led astray again. Save my blog.” And she was sore afraid.
11-And Jim looketh upon Rachel with great pity and did comfort her, saying, “Verily, I will repair thy blog after work today. Even though it is a thorn in my side. Great is my love for you.”
12-Yeah, it has been said, “greater love hath no man that he repair a blog for his friend.”
13-And the evening and the morning were the first day without a blog.

Rachel’s blog is down, I’ll try and get it up again tonight. I have to read up on SQL to see if I can get the database working again. also have to figure out how to back it up. I should be able to write an applescript to do it, hopefully.

Looks like the browser problem is fixed, it works in Safari and Firefox, It should work in netscape too and hopefully works in exploiter, but I don’t have those shitty browsers so I can’t check, if anyone with them can let me know if it works that would be helpful. The only problem is the changing title bar now doesn’t work in Safari, I’ll have to look into why.

It seems that the site is only visible in safari, everyone else gets a pretty white screen with an arrow, beautiful! So unless you are insane enough to find the link in code, you’re not reading this!

Still working on the site, some of the links may not work properly

I’m so tired, which by itself isn’t unusual, since I’m always tired. That’s just the nature of the beast. But since I didn’t sleep last night the just really screws me up. I usually only sleep 3 or 4 hours anyway, but last night I only got maybe one hour or so of sleep.

I’ve decided to use wordpress for a while as a test, I’ll add a link to the old site. This way I can post from anywhere including from work.

Some guy has barricaded himself in a house down the street from my work, and I’m here at home! I guess it’s a good thing, I would be the one yelling ‘shoot the prick, shoot the prick’ at the cops. Hey I would shoot him myself if he stopped me from leaving work on time.

Christmas sucks! just thought I would throw that out there!

So I figured I would post from work since I can!
Last night I prepared the turkey for the fryer, injecting it with herbs & spices and putting it in a bag filled with more herbs & spices and wine. Should be ready for tomorrow. For Christmas I’m going to try and make a turducken, or maybe a turgoosen since Rachel won’t want duck!

I saw Harry Potter on Friday, here are some thoughts. I didn’t read the book so if it wasn’t in the movie, It doesn’t mean anything to me! WARNING: Lots of SPOILERS!
The movie begins with a dream harry has, but I’m not sure what it means. then they are off to the Quidditch world cup, why exactly do they have to travel in the oddest ways? The match gets attacked by about a dozen followers of Voldamort and the hundreds of wizards at the match go running off in a panic (they must be french!). Then back at hogwarts some schools from france and bulgaria arrive to take part in the tri-wizard tornament, after the three wizards are chosen, a huge twist and Harry is chosen to compete! Wow, didn’t see that coming! the first challenge is a dragon, so of course the dragon breaks free of his chains and goes after Harry all over the school, luckily, Dumbledore and the other professors rush to his rescue… oh wait scratch that rescue part, Harry has to kill the dragon by himself while the professors sit in thier skybox! the next task is to hold their breath, about as exciting as watching paint dry, with little octopussys attacking you (yawn). sorry, almost fell asleep thinking about it. Then comes the cornmaze, I think people around here pay $8 to go to one, but I guess since this one changes around, the admission may be more. The hedge animals in the shining were a hell of a lot scarier. So we get to the cup and harry and the other wizard are tornadoed again to Harry’s dream. Voldamort comes to life, kills the other one, but leaves harry. Whines about the followers not looking for him then releases Harry and tries to kill him. Um, why not kill him when he was being held? Harry escapes with the other ones body, boo hoo, Valdamort is alive, bug eyed one is the bad guy. The end.
The problems? Who the fuck were these people? I didn’t give a shit about any of them. Most weren’t around much to get to know them. They build up the girl Harry likes, he asks her to the ball, she says no and she’s just background afterwards. The characters we do know were awol. Snape and Dumbledore only had cameos as did most of the adults. Maybe they were in the book more but the movie is a mess. Which brings up the fact that the adults in the Harry Potter stories are all stupid and inept, even in the books.
Well, that should piss off the Harry Potter fans!

And it was good.
