Alan Grayson’s Town Hall
Posted in Obamination, Politics, Time 2 Piss People Off on August 18th, 2009 by sherlock“The plans were on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet, stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the leopard’” - hitchhiker’s guide
So last night Alan Grayson held a town hall that he hoped no one would find out about, in a small union hall to intimidate the crowds, filled with 100 of his supporters so that the deck was stacked in his favor. only 30 people that waited in line for about 3 hours got in.

us with Alan Grayson, I was going to put ‘rabbit ears’ on him but I figured the guy taking the photo wouldn’t have taken it!

the tiny venue he chose, only 30 were let in from the outside, the rest are union thugs and supporters that were let in through the side door.

the crowd outside the venue about an hour before they started letting people in.
I did a rough count and there was almost 200 people (both pro and against), the door was at the back of the building and the line stretched all the way to the front and around the corner and down the street. not sure what the final count would be as we were one of the lucky few to get in and we got there at 5pm (the event was supposed to start @ 7:45 but started after 8).
While in line, the gentleman in front of us yelled an inappropriate racial comment when after waiting in line for hours they let in several supporters ahead of us. everyone around him told him in no uncertain terms that it was not appropriate. unfortunately if someone got that on video, that will be the clip they feature to show the ‘angry racist crowd’.

The Apple of the Public’s Eye
Posted in Are you serious?, Observations, Time 2 Piss People Off on April 21st, 2009 by sherlockSo Miss California is said to have lost the Miss USA crown because of comments she made about homosexual marriage. Her comments are considered controversial because she thought marriage should be between a man and a woman. Why should this be controversial? It is her opinion.
OK, this part may get me in trouble with some of the homosexuals that I know or have known. I’m sure you are wondering what my thoughts on gay marriage. Well to be frank, I don’t care either way. I think that gays should get the benefits of marriage, and if they make gay marriage legal then I’m fine with that, and if they don’t I’m fine with that too.
I guess I have no real investment in any of it, and homosexuals are not helping themselves with their actions. I find it hilarious that in California, gays are all up in arms that the gay marriage amendment failed. Really? what did you think would happen? To get Obama in the White House you needed to get the black and hispanic vote, neither of which would vote yes to gay marriage. You sabotaged yourselves, you have no call to be angry except at yourselves. Blaming the mormons or the churches or people that gave donations to groups fighting the amendment doesn’t help your cause. It also shows that I have seen no protests against muslims, another block of voters that would definitely vote against gay marriage but would also fight back (look towards the UK if you don’t believe it)! I posted a photo of a gay marriage in Iran a while back, as I said then, grow a pair.
So was Miss California supposed to lie to win the crown? I applaud her for sticking by her beliefs and not buckling in to liberal pressure, especially being from California, the bastion of liberal PC bullshit. As for prickz hilton, how would he feel if he was expressing him opinion and he was ridiculed like he has done to her (and to all the others with similar beliefs)? Not that it would happen in liberal California, where they think that only their opinions count. But tell you what prickz, why don’t you go to Iran or Saudi Arabia or Egypt and spread your beliefs that anyone against gay marriage is a Cunt! You won’t last long, but I’ll have more respect for you, and take Jeanne Garofalo with you OK. Until then Fuck Off And Die.

Posted in Are you serious?, Obamination, Time 2 Piss People Off on January 20th, 2009 by sherlockThe sheep were in the fields near Washington. They were watching their nightly news during the night and an anchor of the MSM suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the O shone around them; and they were terribly frightened.
But the anchor said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of Washington there has been elected for you a Savior, who is Obama. This will be a sign for you: you will find Barack wrapped in expensive clothes and lying from a podium.”
And suddenly there appeared with the achor, a multitude of the heavenly MSM praising O and saying, “Glory to Obama in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom the O is pleased with.”
The sheep said to each other, “Let’s go to Washington and see what the O has told us about.”
RACIST!!!!!!!!
Posted in Are you serious?, Time 2 Piss People Off on January 7th, 2009 by sherlockThis is funny, and if you can’t see it then I think you’re an idiot and deserves ridicule. I had hoped that Colombia had not yet gotten so politicly correct that they can’t laugh at themselves, am I wrong? I give Mike Peters credit for spelling it correctly too, If he drops by the office sometime I’ll let him know I found the strip very funny.
I’m sure someone who is to stupid to read my about box will call me a racist!

Breaking Twilight
Posted in Books, Movies, Observations, Time 2 Piss People Off on December 9th, 2008 by sherlockThis is going to be another post about the Twilight book series (movie too). No doubt you’ve read my review of the book/movie in a previous post but this will be a more serious look at the story. There are spoilers.
The book is a hit with girls, mostly t’weens and teens, but it also seems to appeal to older women and moms seem to like it, reading it with their daughters. Watching the movie premieres on the TV it seemed that very few boys or men feel the same. I think as a teenager, I might have read the books, mostly because I read a very lot when I was younger, sometimes reading a book a day, taking in maybe three or four a week. I would possibly have read them, But I think I would have liked them less then I did reading them now. There is not much for boys in there really, it should be called ‘The Vampires Who Don’t Do Anything”!
These books lead me to ask some questions, Why do girls/women like the story? Yes, I know women like love stories, which is what this is, but this is a pretty fucked up love story. I’ll ask the question a different way, would you want your seventeen year old daughter to be in love with Edward? Now remember, Edward admits he is a killer. I know, I know, you’re jumping up and down yelling ‘but he only killed bad people’. there are a few things I would point out, he never actually says that he only killed bad people in the first book, he does mention that it was hard to kill just bad people, Does that mean he strayed? he also said that it’s harder at first to control yourself, did he lose control? Other family members had killed before, from what they say it seemed like they all had except for Carlyle.
This also doesn’t even matter anyway, when Bella falls in love with him she thinks he is a vampire, vampires kill people and even though Jacob tells her the story of the ‘good’ vampires, he also says that the tribe doesn’t trust them. She also decides that she loves him no matter what, she has no idea what he is or what he has ever done, he could be a serial killer that thinks he is a vampire. He could just be a psychopath, but she has decided that she loves him. Would you want your seventeen year old to be like Bella? What if Bella had fallen in love with James? What if Edward and family were still out hunting people? The love story would still be there but would you feel different?
Then there is the matter of age, Bella is seventeen, Edward is over one hundred, yes he looks seventeen but looks don’t matter. Gary Coleman and Emmanuel Lewis may look like kids but they would still be arrested for sleeping with a seventeen year old. Looks matter little, Edward may look young, but he should be far more mature then Bella. Would you want your seventeen year old daughter dating Hugh Heffner, even if he got plastic surgery to look seventeen?
In reality, she isn’t so much in love with him as she is obsessed with him, and can you truly call Edward anything but a stalker? He watches her all the time, going even as far as breaking in to her room every night and following her out of town! If you think that it’s OK because he was in love with her, what about if she didn’t like him?
So what about Edward makes women over look the fact that he’s a killer? Is it the ‘bad boy’ effect? Women tend to like the bad boys even when they won’t admit it. She may be telling her friends the guy is a jerk, but her panties are moistening anyway. Edward would seem to be the perfect bad boy, a killer that doesn’t actually kill, that watches over her, that protects her from harm and that doesn’t want sex.
So is this what we should be teaching teens? Do you really want teen boys thinking that stalking a girl is fine as long as you love (or think you love) her? Not only OK, but even romantic for you to watch her and follow her, even if she doesn’t feel the same, she’ll come around sooner or later. Girls, it doesn’t matter what the guy has done or how he acts, as long as you love him things will work out right? Is this the thinking that has women staying with a man that slaps her around a little? Hey, she loves him right? What’s a few bruises for love.
So what about real bad boys? Charles Manson, Richard Ramirez, Danny Rollins, Ted Bundy, Scott Peterson and other killers get (or used to get) love letters and marriage proposals. They haven’t killed and will probably never kill again, would you want your seventeen year old obsessed with any of them? What about OJ Simpson, he has had several girlfriends since being found not guilty, and I’m sure other girls would be willing to go out with him too. An adult woman who falls in love with one of these idiots is one thing, but would you want your young daughter to fall for one of them? You can say that Edward is not the same as these killers but that may or may not be true, it’s unclear in the first book whether he killed only bad people, but the fact that she is in love (obsessed with) him before she hears this makes it clear that this doesn’t matter.
Then there is Bella’s willingness to kill herself for Edward. This is another thing we shouldn’t be teaching teens, especially girls. That any guy is worth dying for is stupid. It matters not that he stops her, what matters is her willingness to die to be with him. Are you comfortable with this or as disturbed by it as I was, I don’t think the story would have been hurt if this was not in the book.
Now don’t get me wrong, I love stories and movies that are dark, disturbing, violent and strange. I really wouldn’t have a problem with the books except that they are marketed toward teens. I’m not really one that blames books or games or videos for all the bad in the world, but I do think that teens do notice. T’weens and teens are bombarded with skinny models with big boobs that do affect them and their self esteem. Is telling them that killing yourself or obsessing over a guy a good thing?
What do you think, am I wrong? Maybe my judgement is clouded by the fact that I wouldn’t want my daughter in love with Edward when she is seventeen.
And don’t get me started on the fact that there is no way a dead guy could get a girl pregnant!
WB seems to take exception with this post, we’ll see what she thinks in the comments.
It’s Twilight Time.
Posted in Books, Movies, Time 2 Piss People Off on November 26th, 2008 by sherlockI saw the movie Twilight this weekend and I finished reading the book last night so this will be a review of both. I’ll give a short review of the movie and then the book and then talk in general about both. This will contain spoilers so you’ve been warned.
The movie was about what I thought, it was a chick flick and not really something I enjoy. The first 5 hours were a little slow, dealing mostly with the love story of Bella and Edward who turns out to be a vampire. Edward and his family don’t drink human blood so in a way they are good(?) vampires. The love story gets interrupted by a 20 second scene where the bad vampires show up and we don’t see them attack a human. Later on we see them playing baseball and the bad vamps show up and one wants to eat Bella and then there’s a 5 minute action scene that involves edward and the bad vamp pushing each other into walls a few times and then the bad vamp is killed off screen. the next hour is then a setup for the sequel. I’ll give it 3 puke buckets!
Ok now the book, It’s the same story, except the bad vamps don’t attack the human, we don’t get to them until the baseball game. The love story drags on for 15 chapters before we get into anything else, the next 2 chapters at least we get some history on the family and on Carlyle, the ‘father’ of the group. We finally get to the bad vamps and the hunt is on. I thought this at least was handled better in the book and it seemed at least a little longer and more involved, but once again what happens to the bad vamp is off screen so to speak. The writing was OK I guess, not great but not bad either. Being generous, I would say it was 3 stars.
Now for more observations, this will be for both the film and book, but mostly the book. As I was reading this some things just bugged me, I had to look up the publication date but it was written in 2004 and published in 2005. I thought that maybe the author was an older writer but then I saw her on a movie preview show and that wasn’t the case, she was fairly young, in her thirties. In this day and age, it really bugged me that NO ONE HAD A CELL PHONE! I would say that maybe they didn’t have reception in Forks (the town they were in) except for the fact that late in the book when the are running from the hunter, Carlyle gives them one! These are teenaged girls, in 2005 most would have had cellphones, and a cop surely would have. I was late getting a phone and I had one in ’05. Bella’s mom was worried about her and would freak when anything happened to Bella, don’t you think a cellphone would be a requirement, especially since her mom travelled a lot?
What about iPods? in the movie Bella does have an iPod, but the book had her listening to a CD player. This one I would be willing to let pass even though iPods hit big in ’03, but then in Edward’s room that is full of high tech gear and hundreds of records and CDs, he doesn’t have an iPod?
Bella was in high school and was friends with girls there, there is no way she would be able to forget when the prom is, that is just the dumbest thing I have ever read. You might get me to believe that she didn’t know that was where Edward was taking her, but not that she didn’t know that it was that night. Don’t you think her friends would be talking non stop about it for weeks before? No way, this I call BS. I also find it hard to believe that Taylor would not make sure he was the one taking her, that was just silly.
Edward and family went to high school, why? They lived in a small town, they could probably get away with telling people they were home schooled or something. I know they said it was so they could stay longer, but I’m not sure on that but we’ll let that go. When I was in school, I missed a lot of days because of illness, so I know that at least back then, they only gave you a certain amount of days you could miss before you were failed, a doctors note was required for more then that. Ed and family missed a lot of days as shown in the book. Yes, I know what you are thinking, Carlyle was a doctor and could give them the excuse they needed right? Not really, first off, it didn’t seem like it was a secret that they were not sick, they were off ‘hiking’. Maybe the school didn’t mind? Doesn’t matter, the school would have to have records that go to the county and state, someone is bound to notice all the absences and wonder why the whole family seemed to get sick at the same time and the doctors notes were signed by the father! This might just shorten the time they can spend in a town, and not all towns would be accommodating.
Bella thinks that Ed is a vampire and decides to confront him the next day at school. She waits for him outside the school sitting on a bench enjoying the first sunny day since she got to forks, she is surprised and mad that he isn’t at school. The next day is the same, she waits outside in the sun for Edward the vampire and he doesn’t show, she is once again surprised. I wonder why he didn’t show?
Now for the one thing that really bugged me… Beautiful Edward. No, I had no problem with the character of Edward, It was beautiful Edward or gorgeous Edward or stunning…. WTF? She doesn’t write Edward without beautiful or a synonym of beautiful in front of it. OK I get it, he was good looking. It is so bad that I think I could safely bet that the word beautiful or a synonym of it is on every page from the moment the he appears. If you were to remove beautiful and it’s synonyms from the book it would be maybe two chapters. By the end of the book I wanted to fly to Arizona or where ever this Meyer chick lives and punch her in the face for every fucking ‘beautiful’ that is in the book! I’m not sure I could stomach the next book if it is the same!
I’m sure I could continue, but the post is getting long so I’ll end it here. I do want to post more about the Twilight series, but a more serious discussion so I’ll see about that another day.
There’s A Storm Coming!
Posted in Obamination, Politics, Time 2 Piss People Off on November 4th, 2008 by sherlockThe weatherman said today would be a beautiful day, It appears he was way off. It has been cloudy and depressing all day, hopefully it is not a sign of things to come, hopefully the polls are way off too. We went to Starbucks and got our free $10 cup of coffee, I hate coffee, but I figured if I’m going to get fucked in the ass I want my free cup of coffee. We also went to Shane’s Rib Shack and got a free lunch, much better then the coffee.
The ones that will suffer the most if the one wins are our troops, he has promised to end the war (not win the war, win seems to be a word he does not know except for his campaign), in Iraq. A war has three outcomes, win, lose or draw. pulling troops out is losing. So the idiot is going to snatch defeat from the hands of victory and then blame Bush for his own stupidity I’m sure. Then he’ll do the same in Afghanistan too, Osama has been waiting for this moment ever since he got his ass handed to him by US troops. As he said when Clinton turned tail and ran from Somalia, ‘America is a paper tiger, bloody their noses and they’ll run.’ or something to that effect. Now comes the easy part, stage a major attack on US troops in Afghanistan that kills as many as possible and the idiot one will have an excuse too do the same as Clinton. I think Osama got it wrong though, and he knows it too now, it’s not America that is the paper tiger, it’s the democrats that turn and run from a fight.
‘Teach a man to fish and he’ll eat for a lifetime, give the man a fish and he’ll be back tomorrow for you to give him another fish.’
That’s not really how the saying goes, but it’s more appropriate. The idiot actually thinks that people that have heath care will continue to pay for it when the ones too lazy or stupid to get their own are getting it from free? How stupid do you have to be? How about someone thinking of expanding their business and making it bigger and hiring more people, would they change their mind if it would make things worse for them? The sheer stupidity boggles the mind. There has been a lot of talk of going John Galt on the internet if his highness wins, and while I don’t think people will do so, it might happen as a result of the sacred one’s policies. Getting punished for working harder isn’t an incentive to make you work harder. If your boss asked you to work overtime for less pay, would you? Most likely not.

It’s Not Whether You Win Or Lose, It’s How You Fix The Game
Posted in Obamination, Politics, Time 2 Piss People Off on September 24th, 2008 by sherlockLooks like the Democrats are willing to do whatever it takes to win the election, Acorn is up to their usual tactics here in Central Florida. I love how the left is always up in arms about how W stole the election in 2000 when most of the voter fraud was done by the left.
Tidbits and Bidtits
Posted in Are you serious?, Obamination, Observations, Pink Floyd, Stuff, Time 2 Piss People Off on September 16th, 2008 by sherlockI haven’t been feeling well the last few days so the posts have been few. I’ll post some things I’ve been meaning to the last couple of days.
First off, the passing of Richard Wright, keyboardist for Pink Floyd. A sad loss and it leaves 3 Floyds left with very little chance of a reunion.
Matt Damon says ‘I think there’s a really good chance that Obama could be president, and I think that’s the really scary thing. It would be preposterous having Obama as president when his only political experience was being senator for two years and serving as a community organizer.’ ’It’s like a really bad Disney movie. The community organizer from Chicago and he’s the president and it’s like he’s not willing to face down Vladimir Putin.’ ’It’s totally absurd, and I don’t know why more people aren’t talking about how absurd it is.’ I might have gotten that quote wrong?
Of course they want Obama, They want the US weak (until they need help that is), But fuck them, we decide our own fate. I say if they want him, they can elect him their president!
‘I know when I’ve been insulted, I know when I’ve been insulted!!!’ I was told by WB that Rob called me a conservative, I’m not sure what the context was so I’m not sure how to comment on that. I think he needs to look around the site some more. I consider myself more of a libertarian. Most would think me very liberal in my views, but that might be a bigger insult. I vote republican because I think the democrats are idiots. I want my freedoms and I’m willing to fight for them. Then again Rob is a limey, and as such, my views might be far right of what the British idiots are willing to put up with!
What the Fuck eh. I read some article from some Canadian idiot bitching that the US needs to elect Obama, bla bla bla, Palin and McCain bad, bla bla bla. Does this bitch really think we should be taking advice from Canada of all places? Yeah I want advice from a country that lets islam fuck them with their rights. Hell their asses have to hurt from bending over and taking it up the ass so much. But she is safe with this article, I’m sure it is islam human rights kangaroo court approved. Seeing how free speech is an American right, I’ll express my right and say FUCK YOU BITCH EH!
Well that’s all for now, I have more thoughts but I’ll have to dig up links and right now I don’t have time, the job gets in the way!
Update: Link added, thanks WB
Star Lite, Star Bright
Posted in Are you serious?, Obamination, Politics, Time 2 Piss People Off on September 10th, 2008 by sherlockAs I’ve said before, Obama doesn’t want to be president because he loves his country, he wants to be president because he loves himself, and everyone in Hollywood and at his rallies and even the world loves him. Bow before him. Well everyone except the bitter religious gun clingers, but do they even count? They are not even human are they? more like subhumans that the real humans have to deal with, like cockroaches really. He is a shining star burning very bright that needs those greek columns and a large stadium to hold the large adoring crowds along with his even larger ego. Bow before him. He is the Messiah that will fix everything and nothing. It matters not that he has never done anything, it just matters that he is, bow before him. He has shown that he can out shine everyone, or at least out maneuver them. Bow before him. He did it to Hillary, did she really think she could beat a man, especially one as great as the Messiah? Bow before him. Did that old fish McCain truly think he can out shine the Messiah? Bow before him.
But the star dims, a new star rises and shines brighter then his, how can this be? Panic… Palin
Taser Tag
Posted in Observations, Time 2 Piss People Off on September 9th, 2008 by sherlockIn a report on CNN we learn that in Houston, 67% of people tasered are black. They go on to basically say that it is because of racism. Not that I don’t think that racism plays a part, the problem is that they really don’t give us the full picture. They tell us that 25% of Houston’s population is black so that means the 67% taserings is way out of wack. But in reality, that 25% is meaningless, what they need to tell us is the percentage of crime committed by whites and blacks. If say 67% of all crimes committed are committed by blacks then there is no racism problem, Granted, I don’t believe this, I just say that to illustrate my point as CNNs report does not give us the percentages we need.
But let’s say that 25% of crime is by blacks and 67% off taserings are on blacks, can there be other reasons for the higher proportions of blacks getting tasered? How about the ‘angry black man’? When a cop approaches a white man or black man, even if it is just to ask a question, what percentage of whites vs blacks get defense and maybe angry? I can understand why a black man/woman would feel harassed if (s)he feels the cops are always questioning them, but it may also cause the incident to spiral and the officer the feel understandably defensive. Once again, the officer may not be acting on racism but defensively. Yet once again, CNN doesn’t give us the numbers, but here the study may not have even taken those factors into consideration.
Something else to consider is family and friends. When an officer is questioning or trying to arrest a black man/woman, one thing I’ve noticed in life, on Cops and in news reports is that family, friends and even strangers come out and start yelling at the cops, once again, a crowd gathering around can quickly escalate what could have been a simple questioning or arrest. I have noticed this more with blacks as opposed to whites. This could lead to the suspect or someone in the crowd getting tasered.
How about running or fighting? What percentage of white suspects run or fight or just plainly resist as opposed to blacks? This is one I don’t know and CNN doesn’t say if it does either. But seeing that a suspect that resists is much more likely to get tasered then knowing this percentage is probably the most important. Yet this is probably the number we’ll never know. If a cop tasers someone, they can say the suspect resisted while the suspect will say he didn’t. Unless independent observers go out with every cop to video the arrests, this may be the study that shows the truth, yet would cops and/or the suspect act differently knowing a camera is capturing them?
How many black officers taser blacks as opposed to white officers tasering blacks? Another factor that CNN fails to provide. If the numbers are similar then is there a problem? I doubt this but I don’t know. I imagine that a black officer doesn’t get as much grief as a white officer when questioning a black suspect, but once again, this is something I’m unsure of.
So does racism play a role? Of course, it is just how much of a role it plays the is in question. CNN would like you to believe that the 67% should only be 25% and that the higher percentage is caused completely because of racism. I happen to believe the percentage that could be considered to be caused by racism is much lower. The report that Houston did may look at some of these factors, but if they did, CNN did not report on them so we don’t know what percentage the report considers as caused by racism or if it even gives a percentage, I would doubt that it does.
In this post I am lumping all other races into the white category just to make it easier then saying white/hispanic/asian and so forth
Obama’s Experience Palin Comparison
Posted in Obamination, Politics, Time 2 Piss People Off on September 3rd, 2008 by sherlockSorry, I just couldn’t resist the pun!
So Obama claims that his experience of running for president is on par with running a city and a state. It seems pretty sad and is quite an eye opener that this is his only experience that he can point to! Imagine walking into an office to apply to be a manager and saying “I’m qualified for this job because I have been managing my job search!”. Yea, that’ll work. Obama can’t even claim that, he’s basically just ‘with the band’, his campaign has a manager and lot’s of staff to run it, he just shows up for the gigs, so if anything he is saying he knows how to hire people! Yea, that’s who I want to be President, an HR person!
From what I’ve seen, all the people that are attacking Palin, that want her to drop out, or are complaining that she wasn’t vetted and betting on when she’ll drop out, all seem to be Obama supporters. This seems to be odd to me, if you want your candidate to win, wouldn’t it be better if she stays in the race if she is as bad as you say? Or do you maybe not believe that to be true? The only reason to wish her off the ballot is if you fear your guy might not be able to win against her, and he can’t disqualify her as he did to all his opponents in his first state senate run, so maybe getting her to drop out or McCain to drop her is the way to go.
Obama smartly chose to say to the media that family should be left out of the campaign, It was smart because it made him look good and because he knows the MSM and the koskrazies won’t listen and will do the job for him anyway. He has the MSM wrapped tightly around his finger and knows it. They will go after Palin with all they got while ignoring Obama’s inexperience, terrorist friends, and Rezko ties. Us magazine, who gave us a lovey-dovey article on Barack & Michelle now gives us ‘babies, lies and scandal’ about Palin.
