So last night Alan Grayson held a town hall that he hoped no one would find out about, in a small union hall to intimidate the crowds, filled with 100 of his supporters so that the deck was stacked in his favor. only 30 people that waited in line for about 3 hours got in.

I did a rough count and there was almost 200 people (both pro and against), the door was at the back of the building and the line stretched all the way to the front and around the corner and down the street. not sure what the final count would be as we were one of the lucky few to get in and we got there at 5pm (the event was supposed to start @ 7:45 but started after 8).
While in line, the gentleman in front of us yelled an inappropriate racial comment when after waiting in line for hours they let in several supporters ahead of us. everyone around him told him in no uncertain terms that it was not appropriate. unfortunately if someone got that on video, that will be the clip they feature to show the ‘angry racist crowd’.

So in defending socialist medicine, The grand leader points to the post office as an example of a government department that has private competition and that it would be the same with obamacare. His stupidity knows no bounds, instead of proving his point, if you look closely you’ll see that it actually disproves it.

Case in point, I write a letter to my Aunt Bea, put it in an envelope and it is ready to go. how will I get it to her? It is just a personal letter, a hello or happy birthday or some such thing. well the cheapest way would be to put a 44¢ stamp on it walk out to my mailbox throw it in and put up the flag. I can’t provide any hard numbers, but I’m willing to bet that most personal letters and greeting cards are sent US mail, when was the last time you got a letter/card from a friend or relative sent to you via a different method (Fedex, UPS, etc.)? Why is this? cause it is the cheapest and easiest method to send a letter or card (also the fact that the US post office has a monopoly on non urgent cards and letters). Sure, if it is important to you or the recipient that it gets there fast and on time, then you might consider another service, but in the case of a letter or card, the government wins over the private sector.

So the private sector can only deliver urgent letters/cards or packages, this is the only competition the post office has. If you want to mail a package or an urgent letter then you have several companies, there is the USPS, Fedex, UPS, DHL and I’m sure there are others. The USPS is probably the least expensive, but then some say that  it is also the least reliable. so then you can chose a company that suits your needs in either cost or reliability.  So is the big O right? Can the private sector, at least in the case of packages and urgent letters survive against the USPS? In this case, sort of. See the big eared one forgets one thing, he’s comparing FREE healthcare with a service that is not free. You can not take a package to the post office and mail it for free, it will cost you. The USPS runs somewhat like the private sector, it charges for everything to try to make money to continue to operate, and unlike Fedex and other private sector companies, it FAILS to do this. So to compare the two, you would have to imagine that the  USPS was paid for by the taxpayers and was totally free. How well do you think that Fedex and UPS would do if you could mail any package for free at the post office.

Private companies might still be able to survive if the USPS was free, there would be less as the profits wouldn’t sustain as many companies as there are now, but some would survive with same day/next day urgent packages and letters and with packages too big or dangerous for theUSPS to deliver and if they were more reliable then the USPS and things like that. So with free package delivery service from the USPS, I still think that a private sector would be around.

So I guess you are saying to yourself “HA, what a moron, he proved the O’s point, private sector healthcare will survive under socialized healthcare!”. WRONG, now I get to the final look at the USPS vs healthcare… cold hard cash.

Let’s say the post office is free, let’s say there are still private companies that deliver packages. I need a package sent across the country, I need it there fast and reliable. I can send it for free, but it isn’t always reliable and it may not get there on time, so I take it to the other guys. They want $50 (prices might be higher to make up for less quantity) to send the package, but it is much more reliable and it will get there on time. so $50 versus $0. Is it worth $50? I guess it depends on whether I think it is worth it and if I have the money. Am I willing and able to pay the $50? how about if it was $500? $5000? Are you beginning to get my point? Healthcare isn’t a choice of $50, healthcare is a choice of $500 or $5000. You can go to the obamacare clinic and get it free or the private clinic and get it for $500+. do you really think private clinics will survive except for the rich? obamacare will become a single payer healthcare system, it is what BO wants as he has stated several times on video, he can try to cover up the fact, but youtube shows his true intentions.

One final point, yes I know you’re thinking “but it’s free healthcare right?”, Fedex and the others survive against the USPS because they provide better and more reliable service. The USPS is probably one of the better government run operations and people are still willing to pay more to get better reliability, and we are talking here about packages. The post office tries hard to compete because it has competition, if it had none, the speed and reliability would go down. If the post office loses a letter or package, well most anything lost could be replaced, if socialist healthcare loses a life….

Ask yourself one thing, Obama and Congress all use the USPS, why will they not be using socialized medicine?

He has welcomed amadinnerjacket as the leader of Iran even though he stole the election and welcomes talks with chavez and north korea. Yet when a ruler tries to take over a democratic country as chavez did and the courts order said presidents ouster he refuses to recognize the new democratic leaders that the COURTS put into power, the prick even meets with the former president and is trying to get him back in power. Houduras should tell Obama to go FUCK himself. Obama sides with chavez and ammadinnerjacket and other dictators, maybe the O wants to see if he can pull off a similar move here, there is already a bill out there to do away with the 22nd amendment (H. J. RES. 5). luckily the piece of shit has done so badly in his first 6 months that by 4 years he will hopefully have a hard time getting reelected, sadly the American left is just stupid enough to do anything to get him elected again, no matter how badly he fucks up the country, I’m sure acorn will find enough dead people to vote for obama if they have to, they got al franken elected didn’t they?

One more thing, don’t give me the leftist war cry of ‘racist’, if you don’t know me then fuck off!

The sheep were in the fields near Washington. They were watching their nightly news during the night and an anchor of the MSM suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the O shone around them; and they were terribly frightened.

But the anchor said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of Washington there has been elected for you a Savior, who is Obama.  This will be a sign for you: you will find Barack wrapped in expensive clothes and lying from a podium.”  

And suddenly there appeared with the achor, a multitude of the heavenly MSM praising O and saying,  “Glory to Obama in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom the O is pleased with.”

The sheep said to each other, “Let’s go to Washington and see what the O has told us about.”

The weatherman said today would be a beautiful day, It appears he was way off. It has been cloudy and depressing all day, hopefully it is not a sign of things to come, hopefully the polls are way off too. We went to Starbucks and got our free $10 cup of coffee, I hate coffee, but I figured if I’m going to get fucked in the ass I want my free cup of coffee. We also went to Shane’s Rib Shack and got a free lunch, much better then the coffee.

The ones that will suffer the most if the one wins are our troops, he has promised to end the war (not win the war, win seems to be a word he does not know except for his campaign), in Iraq. A war has three outcomes, win, lose or draw. pulling troops out is losing. So the idiot is going to snatch defeat from the hands of victory and then blame Bush for his own stupidity I’m sure. Then he’ll do the same in Afghanistan too, Osama has been waiting for this moment ever since he got his ass handed to him by US troops. As he said when Clinton turned tail and ran from Somalia, ‘America is a paper tiger, bloody their noses and they’ll run.’ or something to that effect. Now comes the easy part, stage a major attack on US troops in Afghanistan that kills as many as possible and the idiot one will have an excuse too do the same as Clinton. I think Osama got it wrong though, and he knows it too now, it’s not America that is the paper tiger, it’s the democrats that turn and run from a fight.

‘Teach a man to fish and he’ll eat for a lifetime, give the man a fish and he’ll be back tomorrow for you to give him another fish.’

That’s not really how the saying goes, but it’s more appropriate. The idiot actually thinks that people that have heath care will continue to pay for it when the ones too lazy or stupid to get their own are getting it from free? How stupid do you have to be? How about someone thinking of expanding their business and making it bigger and hiring more people, would they change their mind if it would make things worse for them? The sheer stupidity boggles the mind. There has been a lot of talk of going John Galt on the internet if his highness wins, and while I don’t think people will do so, it might happen as a result of the sacred one’s policies. Getting punished for working harder isn’t an incentive to make you work harder. If your boss asked you to work overtime for less pay, would you? Most likely not.

Looks like the Democrats are willing to do whatever it takes to win the election, Acorn is up to their usual tactics here in Central Florida. I love how the left is always up in arms about how W stole the election in 2000 when most of the voter fraud was done by the left.

There are rumors going around that Mr O is going to dump Biden and pick up Clinton as his VP. It’s supposed to work with Biden dropping out for ‘health reasons’ after the first VP debate. I’m not sure I believe that will happen. Why would Biden do this? He would most likely be giving up ever running for President again and he has shown he wants the office, having run several times, what would be his incentive to drop out?

What would be Hillary’s incentive? She doesn’t really want the VP slot, she wants the big chair. Everyone knows that O screwed her, he didn’t even consider her when selecting his VP the first time around. Taking the VP slot will mean that she can’t go for the big chair for at least 8 years (8 to 10 if you’re counting in Obama years) if they win, and then she has to hope that O doesn’t F&^k things up and  that is a long shot. After the way the prick treated her during the primary and the VP selection snub, she should tell him to F#$k off and die.

Hillary’s best bet is to hope he loses so that she can run in 4 years again, if Obama loses, he won’t get the nod next time and she is almost sure to get the nomination.

Like I said, I don’t think he will do this, It would show that his campaign is very worried and that the Palin pick is the biggest factor they are worried about. I’m don’t think that Obama’s ego could take the bruising if he has to bring in Clinton to salvage his campaign.

The loonies on the left go way beyond the line in the things they do, things that if the right did they would flip out over. The liberals love to write and do things to McCain and Palin that they would consider racist and outrageous if done to Obama. A case in point, Jill Greenberg’s photographs for Atlantic magazine that she decided to photoshop. If a photographer did that to Obama there would be outrage by the liberals, and with reason. So is turnabout fair play? I don’t really think so but…

I haven’t been feeling well the last few days so the posts have been few. I’ll post some things I’ve been meaning to the last couple of days.

First off, the passing of Richard Wright, keyboardist for Pink Floyd. A sad loss and it leaves 3 Floyds left with very little chance of a reunion.

Matt Damon says ‘I think there’s a really good chance that Obama could be president, and I think that’s the really scary thing. It would be preposterous having Obama as president when his only political experience was being senator for two years and serving as a community organizer.’ ’It’s like a really bad Disney movie. The community organizer from Chicago and he’s the president and it’s like he’s not willing to face down Vladimir Putin.’ ’It’s totally absurd, and I don’t know why more people aren’t talking about how absurd it is.’        I might have gotten that quote wrong?

Of course they want Obama, They want the US weak (until they need help that is), But fuck them, we decide our own fate. I say if they want him, they can elect him their president!

‘I know when I’ve been insulted, I know when I’ve been insulted!!!’ I was told by WB that Rob called me a conservative, I’m not sure what the context was so I’m not sure how to comment on that. I think he needs to look around the site some more. I consider myself more of a libertarian. Most would think me very liberal in my views, but that might be a bigger insult. I vote republican because I think the democrats are idiots. I want my freedoms and I’m willing to fight for them. Then again Rob is a limey, and as such, my views might be far right of what the British idiots are willing to put up with!

What the Fuck eh. I read some article from some Canadian idiot bitching that the US needs to elect Obama, bla bla bla, Palin and McCain bad, bla bla bla. Does this bitch really think we should be taking advice from Canada of all places? Yeah I want advice from a country that lets islam fuck them with their rights. Hell their asses have to hurt from bending over and taking it up the ass so much. But she is safe with this article, I’m sure it is islam human rights kangaroo court approved. Seeing how free speech is an American right, I’ll express my right and say FUCK YOU BITCH EH!
